Mysterious dwarfish alien brutally murdered in Russia's remote village

Researchers looking into the case of “Alionshenka the Alien” have arrived at a sensational conclusion: the mysterious creature did not catch his death of cold as previously thought. They believe the supposed alien was killed.
“He didn’t die from natural causes,” said Vadim Chernobrov, a coordinator with the public research center Kosmopoisk. “We found out that his skull had been fractured,” Chernobrov added.
The mysterious dwarf was found near the town of Kyshtym of the Chelyabinsk region. Stanislav Samoshkin is a morbid anotomist who performed autopsy on the body of the dwarf in a local hospital. He was the first to claim that the creature was a non-human being.
“The human skull consists of six bones. The skull of that creature was made up of four bones,” Samoshkin said.
Russian and foreign researchers have been trying to unravel the mystery of the “Uralian alien” for eleven years. The story looks like a detective novel in progress. The body of the dwarf was reportedly stolen. The key witness to the case, an old woman who actually named the dwarf “Alioshenka”, died a sudden death.
Lost in translation
The dead body of Alioshenka disappeared. In fact, the investigator assigned to the case reportedly handed the body to some perpetrators who walked away with it.
“They introduced to me as ufologists. I was pretty sure they were real scientists, it never occurred to me they could be the impostors,” Major (Ret.) Vladimir Bendlin said.
A TV crew from Japan was filming a documentary on the Kyshtym alien at the time. The Japanese tried to buy out the remains of the dwarf. However, their attempts ended in failure after some local journalist got the wrong meaning of a few words said in English by Deguchi Masao, the producer with the TV crew.

'Bird-boy' found in Russia

A 'bird boy' was found in Volgograd several days ago. A 7-year old boy was taken away from his mother, 31. A woman took an interest in birds more than in her own son, that’s why he became a real Mowgli.
A boy lived with his mother in a 2-room apartment full of cages with feed and droppings. She had her own domestic birds and fed wild ones. A woman neither beat him nor left him without food. She just never talked to him. It was all the birds that communicated with the boy and taught him birds’ language. “When you start talking to him, he chirps”, - says Galina Volskaya, a social worker of Kirovskiy region, Volgograd. A boy doesn’t understand human language at all. He just chirps and when realizing that he is not understood, starts to wave hands in the way birds winnow wings.
The boy’s mother signed an abdication from a child. A boy now lives in the asylum, but soon will be transferred to the center of psychological care. The child has a so called “Mowgli syndrome”, which in the past years has become widely spread. for example, during the last 2 months 5 children with the same symptoms were found.
In Cambodia a 27-year old wild woman was recently found. She lives in the jungles, walks nude and doesn’t understand human language. However, a local policeman acknowledged her as his daughter that got lost 18 years ago while at 8. In Africa a 10-year old boy was found among the pack of monkeys. In the USA 2 girls were brought up by a pack of monkeys. In Russia a 9-year old boy became a head of wild dogs’ tribe. Translated by Lena Ksandinova

Office Poltergeist caught on camera in NZ

Posted with Youtube video: From Auckland New Zealand - ghost caught on a hidden spy camera that was installed to find out who was tampering with a laptop computer. Upon reviewing the recordings (24 hours of it) this amazing but freaky event was discovered. The tenants of the apartment were so disturbed by what they saw they have since moved out and finally allowed me to share this amazing footage with you. I have edited down as much as I can while still retaining the best parts, also have brightened it up to make easier to see. Watch it for yourself and I promise you this is NOT a fake or a hoax. It is 100% genuine.

Giant "Sea Monster" Fossil Discovered: ''T. Rex of the Ocean'' Found in Arctic

Dubbed the "the Monster," this newly identified fossil predator is one of the largest marine reptiles ever found, scientists announced today. The 50-foot-long (15-meter-long) "sea monster" was excavated last summer on Norway's Arctic island of Spitsbergen. The Monster likely represents the biggest species of pliosaur known to science, said Jørn Hurum, of the Natural History Museum in Oslo, Norway, who led the dig team—and who called the reptile "the T. rex of the ocean."

Mysterious Pyramid Complex Discovered in Peru

The remnants of at least ten pyramids have been discovered on the coast of Peru, marking what could be a vast ceremonial site of an ancient, little-known culture, archaeologists say.

Was This A Close Encounter With A Thunderbird?

No information on this photo. It alleges to show hunters from the 1800s, early 1900s, with a large "thunderbird" they have shot.

The witness said that he was startled by the size of the huge flying creature. The bird stood at least four feet tall. Its head was over the roof line of his car. The head seemed dominant, but not over proportioned to its body. The neck seemed long, and somewhat crooked. The bird was covered with very dark brown or black feathers. The head was feather less, and was separated from the body by a very dominant yellowish orange collar of plumage. The beak was very long and large, and the witness believes that it was black in color. The eyes were very dark. The witness could not remember many details about the feet, but did recall that the legs were full feathered to its feather less feet. The chest area was very distinct and well formed. The most outstanding feature however was the massive wingspan of the bird. After I interviewed the witness the first time, he returned to the location of the encounter and measured the distance across the road from edge to edge. What amazed the observer was that the wingspan was easily as wide as the two lane road. When he measured the distance it was 21 feet! The witness stated,"the wings were as I can remember, as arms of a human are attached. It had shoulders. It had a very muscular upper torso and the wings were as if they were its arms." The observer commented,"We both startled each other it seems, for it looked as shocked as I was." When it became startled, it pulled its head back to gaze at the driver. "In seeing me, it turned from me and in an awkward way, ran from my vehicle so as to fly away. It was more like a jumping, hopping run which took probably a distance of five yards before it’s absolutely huge wingspan lifted it into flight. Its wingspan easily was as wide as the two lane road which we were on." The wing tips stirred dust and gravel on both sides as it ran to become airborne. Full article here.

Fresh tests undertaken on Turin Shroud

The oxford laboratory that declared the Turin Shroud to be a medieval fake 20 years ago is investigating claims that its findings were wrong. The head of the world-renowned laboratory has admitted that carbon dating tests it carried out on Christendom's most famous relic may be inaccurate. Carbon dating tests carried out 20 years ago on the Shroud of Turin suggested that the relic was a forgeryProfessor Christopher Ramsey, the director of the Oxford University Radiocarbon Accelerator Unit, said he was treating seriously a new theory suggesting that contamination had skewed the results.Though he stressed that he would be surprised if the supposedly definitive 1988 tests were shown to be far out - especially "a thousand years wrong" - he insisted that he was keeping an open mind. The development will re-ignite speculation about the four-metre linen sheet, which many believe bears the miraculous image of the crucified Christ. The original carbon dating was carried out on a sample by researchers working separately in laboratories in Zurich and Arizona as well as Oxford. To the dismay of Christians, the researchers concluded that the shroud was created between 1260 and 1390, and was therefore likely to be a forgery devised in the Middle Ages. Even Anastasio Alberto Ballestrero, the then Cardinal of Turin, conceded that the relic was probably a hoax.advertisementThere have been numerous theories purporting to explain how the tests could have produced false results, but so far they have all been rejected by the scientific establishment. Many people remain convinced that the shroud is genuine.

New Mexico spaceport on for 2010

Officials at the New Mexico Spaceport Authority (NMSA) report progress in blueprinting the design of the first “purpose built” commercial spaceport. The $198 million project is sketched out to cover an 18,000 acre footprint 45 miles north of Las Cruces and 30 miles east of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. That area is favored due to low population density, uncongested airspace, as well as high elevation. According to the NMSA in a February 18 statement, a milestone has been met in that 90 percent of the site layout and design is now complete. That being the case, the first bid package for construction is to be ready within the coming months. NMSA is working closely with DMJM Aviation, the group contracted to plan, design, and provide construction management. Furthermore, water and power distribution, as well as internal road design is roughly 85 percent complete. The spaceport's runway and related airfield design is 65 percent complete. All design related to the inland spaceport's on-site infrastructure should be wrapped up by May, the NMSA reports. Bid packages for construction work are now targeted for summer, although a key milestone must be in alignment with the release of bid packages. An environmental impact study is still underway for planting the spaceport complex, work that must be done to achieve a site operator's license from the Federal Aviation Administration. Completion of Spaceport America is currently planned for some time in the year 2010, the NMSA now projects. When up and running, that sprawling facility is to be home base for Virgin Galactic spaceline operations.

DISASTER PLANNING 101: Doomsday Vault Installed In Arctic Mountain

It sounds like something from a science fiction film, but its not. Norway is has built a giant doomday vault. It is to be a repository for seeds so that future humans will be able to grow food in the event of a global catastrophy (2012?). The Svalbard Global Seed Vault was to be officially inaugurated on Tuesday, about a year after crews started drilling in Norway's Svalbard archipelago, about 600 miles from the North Pole. Construction started in April last year. Norway owns the vault but countries sending seeds will own the material they deposit.
The vault is designed to withstand earthquakes and even a direct nuclear strike, said construction leader Magnus Bredeli-Tveiten. Even if power systems failed, the permafrost around the vault would help keep the seeds cold for 200 years even in the worst case climate scenario. The vault's life span is expected to rival that of Egypt's ancient pyramids.
The vault's seed collection, made up of duplicates of those already held at other seed banks, will reflect the work of some 10,000 years of plant breeding by the world's farmers. Though most are no longer widely planted, the varieties contain vital genetic traits still regularly used in plant breeding. These seeds will be used in the future to engineer new seeds that are expected to be planted. The World's Most Secure Gene Bank
Project completion comes at a time of growing concern about the safety of existing seed banks world wide. Many have been criticised for their poor security, faulty refrigeration and vulnerable power backups. In the late 1980s, terrorists ransacked an international potato seed bank in the Peruvian Andes. War wiped out seed banks in Iraq and Afghanistan, and one in the Philippines was flooded in a typhoon in 2006, So, what disaster are we getting ready for next?

Mass trance afflicts Indonesian women, factory workers

JAKARTA (Reuters) - Lina, a former worker at a cigarette factory in Indonesia, says she was 17-years-old the first time she was possessed by an evil spirit.
"My older sister went down first. She was screaming and her body went rigid and she couldn't move. Then the spirit came into my body too," said Lina, who like many Indonesians has one name.
Reports of schoolchildren, young women and factory workers going into mass trances or speaking in tongues are common across Indonesia's vast archipelago of 226 million people.

CORPORATE MIND CONTROL? Subliminal McDonald's ad on Food Network

Someone was taping "Iron Chef America" when they noticed their screen flash red. When they went back to roll the tape it was, they found a McDonald's ad on just one frame! What's happening here? See the video for yourself.

CORPORATE MIND CONTROL - Hidden Messages In Tv Shows by: J. Mark Soveign
Is the Food Network using mind control techniques on us? The website is running a story about a MacDonald's ad that was inserted for only 1/30th of a second in an episode of Iron Chef America. The story discloses: "A YouTube video featuring a "single frame" shot from a McDonald's ad in the middle of Food Network's Iron Chef has some convinced that the company is sneaking subliminal messages into the network's programming." View there story here:
At present no one seems to know how or why this happened. Mind control conspiracy buffs are bound to point to this as an example of how they are right - that corporations are using Tv ads in conjunction with their long-standing habit of weaving messages and codes into their commercial logos and print advertising in order to control out behavior.
The 1957 book "Hidden Persuaders", authored by Vance Packard explored the use of consumer motivational research and other psychological techniques, including depth psychology and subliminal tactics, by advertisers to manipulate expectations and induce desire for products, particularly in the American postwar era.
Don't Sell The Steak, Sell The Sizzle
People need to know if subtle manipulation of consumer behavior like the above MacDonald's ad works. In the early 1950's conventional supermarket research indicated that ready-to-bake cake mixes would be a good seller, but the weren't. Focus groups set up to study the problem revealed that women liked the idea behind the ease of use of the product, but felt guilty that they were serving their family something that was less than "authentic". The solution? Betty Crocker changed the baking instructions on the box by adding just three words: "add one egg" and nothing else. Sales of boxed cake mixes skyrocketed.
You see a video showing the flash MacDonald's ad and decide for yourself why it's in there. Bon Appetit!

Confirmation and Update on Secret UN Meeting Discussing UFOs & Extraterrestrial Life

Confirmation and Update on Secret UN Meeting Discussing UFOs and Extraterrestrial Life by Michael E Salla, Ph.D

Dr. Michael E. Salla, is a pioneer in the development of 'Exopolitics', the scholarly study of the main actors, institutions and political processes associated with extraterrestrial life. His groundbreaking Exopolitics: Political Implications of the Extraterrestrial Presence (Dandelion Books, 2004) presents the first scholarly framework for understanding the political implications of the extraterrestrial presence. His interest in exopolitics evolved out of his investigation of the sources of international conflict and its relationship with the undisclosed extraterrestrial presence. He cites evidence of as many as seventeen different extraterrestrial civilizations currently interacting with humanity in a variety of ways, with a number of other civilizations simply monitoring the Earth. Beatles space broadcast 'risks alien attack'

Fears that malevolent aliens will tune into this week's broadcast of The Beatles' song "Across the Universe" have been voiced by scientists. Nasa started to beam the song towards the North Star, 431 light years from Earth at midnight GMT on Monday, drawing congratulations from former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney and John Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono, who mused that it marked "the beginning of the new age in which we will communicate with billions of planets across the universe." The transmission raises questions about what we would want aliens to learn about our world But today's New Scientist asks whether such signals could expose us to the risk of attack from mean spirited aliens. Scientists considered this question at the "Sound of Silence" meeting at Arizona State University in Tempe this week. "Before sending out even symbolic messages, we need an open discussion about the potential risks," says Douglas Vakoch of the Seti (Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence) Institute, Mountain View, California.

Ghost hunters hear voice on tape

Some Louisiana ghost hunters are not ready to call a house they investigated in St. Martinville haunted just yet, but they are reporting one unexplained phenomenon. On Jan. 5, the group Louisiana Spirits was called to investigate a house owned by Michelle and J.D. Kirkwood, which is one of the Olivier homes.“We were very eager to investigate the Olivier house, especially after all of the strange happenings reported by the homeowners,” said Brad Duplechien, founder of Louisiana Spirits. “Such happenings included footsteps being heard upstairs, strange noises being heard and an upstairs door that opened on its own.”

Elmo Doll Threatens to Kill Toddler

It sounds like something the talking doll Chucky from the movies might say: "Kill James!" Instead, a Florida family says the threat to their toddler is coming from a talking Elmo doll.
The Bowman family, of Lithia, Fla., said an Elmo doll belonging to their 2-year-old son, James, began to spout death threats towards him after they changed its batteries, reports.
The Elmo Knows Your Name Doll started saying "Kill James!" in a sing-song voice, the site reports.
"It's not something that really you would think would ever come out of a toy," James' mother, Melissa, told the site. "But once I heard, I was just kind of distraught."
The toy's manufacturer, Fisher-Price, said it will issue the Bowmans a voucher for a replacement doll, reports.

"Figure" photographed on Mars

This photo of what looks remarkably like a female figure with her arm outstretched, was taken on Mars. Perhaps unsurprisingly, it has set the Internet abuzz with claims that there really is life on the red planet. Others may well feel that it is simply an optical illusion caused by a landscape. The image was among many sent back to Earth by Spirit, Nasa's Mars explorer vehicle which landed there four years ago. Initial inspections revealed nothing unusual, but closer examination by amateur astronomers has thrown up this intriguing picture. Full article here.

Panic after 'franken-fish' caught in Britain

With its razor- sharp teeth, the fish known as the giant snakehead terrorises the warm waters of south-east Asia. Which is why an angler was particularly startled to hook a 2ft specimen from a river in Lincolnshire. Andrew Alder caught the snakehead using a sprat for bait while fishing for pike in the River Witham near North Hykeham. He took photographs of his catch and handed them over to experts who confirmed it was the deadly predator.

Huge rise in British UFO sightings

Clusters of up to 100 mysterious objects, bright white lights and strange, triangular shaped objects are just some of a huge surge in UFO sightings reported to the Ministry of Defence last year. The ministry has opened up its own "X-Files" for 2007, revealing 135 UFO sightings from across the UK. If aliens are choosing the UK as a holiday destination, it appears it is becoming more popular, as the number if sightings has shot up since 97 were reported in 2006. Last year the MoD released details of UFO sightings for the first time, including an archive back to 1998. Previously, details of classified reports were kept secret for 30 years. Discs, formations, white or orange lights, triangular shaped craft and pipe-like objects were all spotted buzzing around the sky in 2007. In Duxford, Cambridgeshire on April 12, a witness reported seeing fifty objects, each with an orange light, assembling in the sky before ascending. advertisementTwo pilots in different planes above Alderney in the Channel Islands reported the same UFOs on April 23. They saw one bright orange craft, then a gap, followed by an identical object. In Portsmouth, Hants, in October, a witness watched as "an oval/spherical shaped object approached an aircraft, and appeared to accelerate very fast, and then wobbled from side to side. "Another object appeared in roughly the same vicinity and then stayed stationary." In the West Midlands in December, one witness got a shock when a UFO shone a light into her window. The MoD logged: "A giant craft shone a light into the witness's back window. It shot off fast at first to the North East and then started to move at a slow pace."Another report noted a "an exceedingly bright light, which was stationary, but sometimes flew off" over the Wiltshire skies. Hilary Porter, from the British Earth and Aerial Mysteries Society (BEAMS) said sightings were becoming increasingly common.

UFO in the fog? [photo]

This image may look like just another car park on a foggy night, but an amateur photographer claims it also shows a UFO. A disc-shaped object appears to be hovering in the night sky near the top right of the picture, according to Hab Rahman, who captured the image. The 28-year-old took the photograph near his home in Portsmouth while driving home from work in thick fog. But he only spotted the mysterious apparition after transferring the image on to his computer. Mr Rahman said: 'I've never really believed in UFOs but this is a bit weird and freaky – I just cannot think what else it could be.' UFO expert Hilary Porter, of the British Earth and Aerial Mysteries Society, last night confirmed it could be genuine. She said: 'It would be very difficult to fake that photo and the UFO is at a tilt, which is the way they normally fly.' The Ministry of Defence said it could not check if there were any aircraft in the vicinity at the time.

Self-healing rubber bounces back

A material that is able to self-repair even when it is sliced in two has been invented by French researchers. The as-yet-unnamed material - a form of artificial rubber - is made from vegetable oil and a component of urine. The substance, described in the journal Nature, produces surfaces when cut that retain a strong chemical attraction to each other. Pieces of the material join together again as if never parted without the need for glue or a special treatment. This remarkable property comes from careful engineering of the molecules in the material. The French researchers are already making kilogramme quantities in their Paris laboratories and say the process is almost completely green, and could be completely so with a few adjustments. 'Tiny hands': The secret of the substance lies in how the molecules are held together. A piece of normal rubber, says Dr Ludwik Leibler, who headed the research, is actually a single molecule with billion upon billions of smaller units chemically welded together to form a giant tangled network. The elasticity comes from the fact that the strands within the network are buckled like a concertina: pull on them and they straighten and elongate; let go and the buckles reappear. But break a rubber (or most other solids), and the chemical welds - known as covalent bonds - are also broken. These cannot be remade. Nor can a piece of rubber be remoulded or reshaped. "We wanted to see if we could make a rubber-like material using small molecules," Dr Leibler of the Industrial Physics and Chemistry Higher Educational Institution (ESPCI) in Paris told the BBC's Science In Action programme. The trick was to replace the covalent bonds in rubber with weaker connections known as hydrogen bonds. These are like hands on neighbouring molecules that can clasp together, but let go when broken. Dr Leibler quickly realised that this meant not only that the new rubber could be recycled and remoulded many times over, but that if separated by a cut or break, the chemical hands at the fresh surfaces would still be waving about ready to bind again.
